Lagos State Polytechnic hosted the 7th International Conference on Infrastructure Development in africa (ICIDA) between Wednesday, 28th – Friday 30th, March 2018 titled “The complexity of Infrastructure System: What are we fixing?”
The Conference commenced with a grand opening ceremony on Wednesday 28th March, 2018 with Keystone Addresses and presentation of Lead Papers from Dignitaries such as: Aare Afe Babalola, Dr. Paul Chan, Engr. Dr. Simon Oladele and Engr. Prof. Jeremiah O.O Ojediran to mention a few.
The Chairman, Governing Council, Prof. Tajudeen G.O. Gbadamosi and the Rector, Mr. Samuel O. Sogunro in their address welcomed participants from various part of the world and admonished them to come up with resolutions that will help fix various challenges faced in Africa infrastructure system.
Scholars and Professionals at the end of the conference, resolved that there is an urgent need to reconstruct the infrastructure complexity and deficit, if Nigeria and African Continent are to move forward and take their rightful place in the 21st Century.
