Samuel Soguro
Mr Samuel Oluyinka Sogunro was born on March 17, 1961 in Lagos Island, Lagos. He attended University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos where he obtained B.Sc. (Ed) Honours (Mathematics) in 1987 and also M.Sc (Statistics) in 1995. Mr Samuel Oluyinka is a Fellow, Mathematical Association of Nigeria (FMAN), Fellow, Nigerian Statistical Association (FNSA), Fellow, Royal Statistical Society, United Kingdom (FRSS), Fellow, the Institute of Classic Entrepreneurship Nigeria (FCEnt), Member, Nigerian Mathematical Society (MNMS) and Associate member, Nigerian Institute of Management. (AMNIM). He lectures Pure and Applied Mathematics and Statistics at National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) levels since 1990 till date. Mr. Samuel Oluyinka Sogunro became the 10th Rector of the Polytechnic on June 1, 2015 till date. Olatunji Olateju
Deputy Rector (Administration)
Dr. Olatunji A. Olateju is a Chief Lecturer in the Department of General Studies of the Polytechnic. He obtained Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Sociology, from the University of Lagos in 1985, Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Sociology from the same University in 1987, Master of Art (MA) in Democratic Studies from the University of Leeds in 2007, United Kingdom and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Politics from Swansea University, United Kingdom in 2013. Dr. Olateju has attended many local and international conferences on Political Economy, Culture and Politics, Leadership and Democracy, Youth Empowerment, Globalization and Economic Development. He has many publications to his credit among which are Neo Communitarianism and Speconomy as Alternative Path to Economic Development, Political and Economic Dimensions in National Development, The Truth of Economy and Political Disorders in Africa and Steps for Rectification etc. Dr. Olateju was a Honorary Research Fellow of Swansea University, UK from September, 2013 – September, 2016. He is currently the Deputy Rector (Administration) Lagos State Polytechnic from where he commenced his teaching career in 1998. His research areas include Economic Development, Youth and Gender Empowerment, Democracy and Governance.
Olufemi A. Adebanjo

Mr Olufemi Adesoji Adebanjo was born in Gashua on 6th August, 1962. He had his Secondary Education in Christ Apostolic Grammar School, Iperu-Remo, Ogun State. Mr. Adebanjo holds a Bachelor of Arts in English/Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan (1986) and a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) with specialization in Human Resources/Personnel Management (1997) from Lagos State University, Ojo. He is a Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) MNIM, and an Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (ACIPM). Olufemi commenced his career at the federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, Plateau State where he had his National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) between 1986 and 1987. In July 1988, he joined the service of the Lagos State Polytechnic as an Administrative Officer II in the Registry Department. Olufemi rose through the ranks and became the Ag. Registrar of the Polytechnic on 9th February, 2017.
Maumo J. Jinadu
Mr. Maumo Jerry Jinadu was born at Badagry on the 8th day of February, 1967. He attended Iworo Ajido High School, Badagry between 1979 and 1984. He later proceeded to Lagos State University, Ojo to pursue a career in Economics Education in 1995 and bagged his B.Sc Ed. Economics (Second Class Upper Division) in the year 1998. In quest for more knowledge, he was admitted into Lagos State University, Ojo to run his M.Sc Economics in year 2003 and was awarded his certificate in year 2005. In year 2008, he got his MBA in Financial Management from the same Institution. He later acquired his B.Sc Accounting (Second Class Upper Division) in year 2014 from Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State. Mr. Maumo Jerry Jinadu is a Chartered Accountant, a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Fellow, Chartered Institute of Finance and Control of Nigeria, Associate Member, Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Nigeria (CPA), Associate Member, Institute of Cost Management, Nigeria, and Associate Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). Before his appointment as the Bursar, Lagos State Polytechnic with effect from August 1, 2017, he joined the services of Lagos State University, Ojo in 1988 as a Secretariat Staff, and was later appointed as Executive Officer Accounts in the Bursary Department in 1992 and rose to the position of Deputy Bursar in 2016. He was also a Resource Person with the Department of Accounting, Lagos State University, External System at Lekki, Anthony, Festac, Jibowu and Ikoyi Campuses between year 2007 and 2016. He has also been honoured with numerous awards amongst which are; Dedication and commitment Award by National Association of Badagry Students (NABAS) LASU Chapter, Distinguish Badagrian Award by National Association of Badagry Students (NABAS) LASU Chapter, Exceptional Leadership Quality and Integrity Award by Nigerian Universities Accounting Students Association (NUASA), LASU, Lekki Chapter, Outstanding Administrator of the year and Badagry Integrity Award by Badagry Parrot Newspaper and Badagry Elite Forum. His area of professional calling and research interest includes projects and research works done in his Bachelors and Masters degree. He is of Ogu extraction by birth, from Dale-whedakoh, ASCON Road, Badagry. He is also a Christian and happily married with Children.
